Nowhere / Nergens (research, 2025)

Nowhere is a research project, developed in the context of Muzieklab of Intro in Situ and VIA ZUID and Chronosphere lab of De Effenaar Smart Vennue. Director Celine Daemen, together with writer Olivier Herter, composer Sterre Konijn and art director Aron Fels, she explored the physicality of the virtual space and the role of music in creating immersive experiences.  

As the end result of this research, they presented a virtual reality opera called Nowhere, in which music and VR take you to a fascinating liminal space, between being and non-being, between people and technology, between reality and chaos, between holding on and surrender.
